FACILITIES
Instruction and recreational activities will take place in Decker Gymnasium – the home of the Mountaineers, and the Kelchner Fitness Center.
HOUSING
Overnight campers will stay two to a dorm room in the residence halls. Roommate requests are acceptable, (see the application).Those with prior commitments may leave camp for those events. Coaches will provide constant supervision in the dorms. Shower and reatroom facilities are conveniently located on each floor.
MEALS
Mansfield University offers each camper one of the most modern and complete dining facilities in the Northeast. Campers will enjopy the meals as they get a choice of nutritious entrees at each meal, as well as a soup and salad bar. Our menue is all you can eat with a full dessert and ice cream bar.
LOCATION
Mansfield University is located on route 6 and route 15 in the borough of Mansfield. We can easily be reached by interstate 80, in PA. About 45 minutes north of Williamsport, PA.and about 30 minutes south of Elmira, NY.
UNIVERSITY POLICIES
The university does not provide medical insurance for campers. In the event of illness or injury requiring treatment, hospitalization, or surgery, family medical insurance must be used.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The university may cancel or postpone any camp because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a camp is cancelled or postponed the university will refund registration fees.
NCAA RULES AND REGULATIONS
In accordance with NCAA rules and regulations, “senior prospective student-athletes” shall not be permitted to be employed in an institution’s summer sports camp.
Institutional staff members or representatives of its athletics interests shall not employ or give free or reduced admission priviledges to a high school, preparatory school, or two year college athletics award winner.
A member institution may not compensate or reimburs a high school or preparatory school, or two year college coach based on the number of campers the coach sends to camp.
