SHIPPENSBURG – Mansfield shot a dismal 32% from the floor in suffering a 95-64 setback to Shippensburg in a PSAC crossover contest at Heiges Field House Wednesday night.

Mansfield struggled to get into an offensive rhythm for much of the game trailing by as many as 15 points midway through the first half before cutting the lead to 25-20 on a Chris Greene free throw with 6:50 to play before halftime.

Sophomore point guard Chris Greene (Rochester,NY/ Greece Arcadia) scored a season high 19 points while freshman forward Jovoun Webb (Webster,NY/Webster Thomas) recorded her first collegiate double-double with a season high 17 points and 12 rebounds. Kevin Hill (Mansfield/Mansfield) added 11 points.

The Mountaineers were out rebounded 45-30 while Shippensburg shot 57% from the floor.

Chuck Davis led four Shippensburg players in double figures with 19 points.

Mansfield (2-6) will break for the holidays until travel to Wheeling, WV on Dec. 29.
