FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: PSAC BASKETBALL MEDIA DAY SET FOR NOVEMBER 10

MANSFIELD – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) will hold its annual Men’s and Women’s Basketball Videoconference on Wednesday, Nov. 10.

Head coaches from all 14 PSAC schools will speak about their upcoming season and the conference will release the Preseason Coaches Poll and All-Conference picks via video hookup.

Fans interested in watching the video conference are invited to attend. The women’s portion of the program will be held starting at 11 a.m. with the men scheduled to take center stage at 1:30 . Both sessions will be held in room 107 of Memorial Hall on the Mansfield University campus.

The Mountaineer women, under the direction of head coach Ruth Hermansen, return starters Stephanie Rieser and Alison Tagliaferri from last year’s record setting 14-16 team. They open the 2004-05 season at the Davis & Elkins Classic on Nov. 19-20.

Head coach Vince Alexander returns just one starter from last season’s 21-7 team, but has six players who saw considerable action during the course of the season. The men open their season at Houghton College on Nov. 16.
