Mansfield led for 39 of the 40 minutes in the game after Lock Haven scored the contest’s first basket. The Mountaineers played one of their most complete games of the season shooting effectively from the outside and underneath. After building a 34-24 advantage at intermission, MU put the game out of reach hitting 62% of their shots in the second half and leading by as many as 28 points with under ten minutes to play. Hoopes scored a game high 20 points hitting 7-of-10 from the floor including 6-of-9 3-point attempts. Collazo also connected on 7-of-10 shots in scoring 19 points while pulling down a game high eight rebounds. Brian Bryant added 13 points with six assists. Joe Walker and James Chappell each scored 14 points to lead Lock Haven. The Mountaineers will
travel to Ithaca on Thursday.
