Pep Rally Kicks Off 2003 Football Season

The 2003 Mountaineer football season got off to a festive start with a Pep Rally at the Student Mall on Friday night.

  The Pep Rally, organized by the Spirit Committee, featured a performance by the Mountaineer cheerleaders, live music, food and speech by Mountaineer football head coach Chris Woods.

  “This support is really exciting for us for us as a team,” Woods said to the crowd made up of students, faculty, staff and fans of all ages. “This is the first time we’ve had something like this and it means a lot to us.”
