FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: New gates enhance Karl Van Norman Field entrance

MANSFIELD – Visitors to athletic events at Karl Van Norman Field  will be welcomed by new wrought iron games featuring the Mansfield athletic logo.

The gates installed last week replace the old chain link gates and give Van Norman an instant facelift.

Not only will fans for sprint football, track and softball events be please with the upgrade, they will also welcome parents and students for graduation this spring.

The first athletic event to be held at Van Norman with the new gates will be the Mountaineers first ever sprint football game on Saturday, September 27 when the Mountaineers host Cornell University.
