Mansfield University has NCAA Division II all-purpose yardage leader, third leading rusher, eighth leading scorer and 11th top punt returner.

But Poohbear McNeal is not the best player in NCAA Division II.

According to MU coaches, opponent coaches and media – Dan Holland is the best player and our Harlon Hill Candidate.

“Dan Holland was the NCAA Division II Linebacker of the Year last season and may be even better this year”,   East Stroudsburg Head Coach Denny Douds

“Some schools pad their guys stats and you say, ‘No way,’ –  that’s not true about Dan Holland -- he’s legit,” Bloomsburg University Head Coach Danny Hale

Holland is a great player. He’s Phenomenal. If you look at this game ( Mansfield ) on film you’d say, ‘geez, 75 percent of the time they ran away from Holland ,’ and the truth is, we did. I hope people think I’m a smart coach because I realize, ‘hey, that kid is good, let’s run somewhere else.” West Chester University Head Coach Bill Zwaan
