FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MANSFIELD INKS SEVEN ON FIRST DAY OF FOOTBALL SIGNINGS

MANSFIELD – Mansfield University head football coach Jim Shiffer announced seven student-athletes had signed letters of intent to play football for the Mountaineers next season.

Today is the first day that high school students may sign national letters of intent.

“We very excited about having seven players commit on the first day, “said head coach Jim Shiffer. “Seven is a good number for a Division II school on the first day and reflects the effort our staff has made on the recruiting trail. Even more exciting is that this is just the beginning of what we expect will be a very good recruiting class.”
