FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Jamar Foulks Invited to Play in East Coast Bowl

PETERSBURG, VA -- Mansfield University senior offensive lineman Jamar Foulks has been invited to play in the National Football Foundation's East Coast Bowl, an all-star gala showcasing the talents of small-college football athletes.

The game, started in 2001, is intended to shed light on traditionally overlooked small school athletes. Multiple NFL scouts will be on hand as well as Arena Football League and CFL scouts.

Foulks, a 6'4" 340 pound center, reported to Petersburg, Virginia today (the 22nd) and will go through testing and practices throughout the week before playing in the All-Star game on Saturday.

Jamar, the 2005 winner of the Butsko award, will wear number 66 for the South squad.

Foulks is the fourth player from Mansfield to be invited to the game, joining quarterback Travis Motley who engineered the game winning touchdown in the 2002 game, Joe Frick and Brian DeCecco..

Foulks was a three-time All-PSAC East selection and a two-time pre-season All-American. He earned All-Region honors in 2005 as well.

Foulks will be joined by two other members of the PSAC in Zach Snyder, an offensive lineman from Clarion, and Even Prall, a wide receiver from East Stroudsburg. Both Snyder and Prall will play for the North squad.

Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 pm at Cameron Field in Petersburg.
