RELEASE DATE:8/18/05 MANSFIELD -- The Mountaineer kickers got in some extra work under the direction of former Bucknell kicking standout Rich Miller during the second session of on the field practice Thursday afternoon. Junior placekicker Sean Hair is a two-year starter for the Mountaineers and ranked among the Top Ten in the PSAC in 2004 in field goal percentage by hitting 5-of-10 attempts. Brandon Fields is also a two-year starter at punter where he ranked in the Top Ten in the conference last season in yards per punt (35.0). Miller, the newly named Mountaineers head men's basketball coach, was a legendary kicker and punter at Bucknell, earning All-Patriot League honors three times during his undergraduate career. He volunteers time during the preseason to work with the Mountaineer kickers. The team went through a spirited competition between the offense and defense in full pads during the morning session, highlighted by a battle between senior defensive back Ronnie Montgomery and leading returning receiver Tyrone Robinson. ###
