FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: HEATHER LONG NAMED TO ALL-PSAC SECOND TEAM HONORS IN FIELD HOCKEY – SENIOR SET NATIONAL NCAA DIVISION II SAVES RECORD

MANSFIELD – Mansfield University senior goaltender Heather Long (Pottstown/Pottsgrove) has been named to All-PSAC honors in voting conducted among the PSAC head field hockey coaches.

A four-year starter, Long broke the NCAA Division II record for saves in a season with 341 this year. She also holds the NCAA Division II record for career saves with 860.

Long, who was selected to second team honors, is the daughter of Steve and Jayne Long of Pottstown and is majoring in criminal justice administration.
