(Pa) Saturday afternoon
4-1 on senior day.
Prior to the start of today’s game, Mansfield
honored senior goalie Heather
Long (Pottstown/Pottsgrove). Indiana
spoiled the Mountaineers
celebration as Amy Hood scored a goal off an assist from Chrissy Hill minutes
into the game.
IUP would add two more unassisted goals from Kandice Pyles and Chrissy Hill with
25 minutes remaining in the first half.
Mansfield’s Kristen
Campbell (
Bloomsburg/Central
Columbia
) put the Mountaineers on the board with a break
away goal with under ten minutes remaining in the first half.
Indiana
would add one more goal
in the second half from Amanda O’Brian to secure the 4-1 victory over the
Mountaineers.
Mansfield
is now 3-13 overall and
3-11 in the PSAC. The Mountaineers
next home game is
noon
tomorrow at Spaulding
field as Mansfield
plays host to

University.
