FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Field Hockey Reports to Preseason Camp Sunday

The Mountaineer field hockey team becomes the first of the five fall sports program's to report for preseason camp when they arrive on campus this Sunday. Head Coach Diane Monkiewicz welcomes 16 players, including seven newcomers and nine veterans, led by senior All-American's Courtney Grunza and Brittany Kostishion. The Mountaineers will have a pair of preseason scrimmages before opening the 2009 campaign against Southern Connecticut at Shippensburg on Aug. 29.
