FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mansfield Field Hockey Host Play 4 The Cure this Sunday Against Millersville - - Field Hockey Squad Plans to Raise Funds and Increase Breast Cancer Awareness  

MANSFIELD – The Mansfield University field hockey team will host ‘Play 4 the Cure’ during its home game with Millersville this coming Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m.

To raise funds for the fight against breast cancer, the field hockey team is selling pink t-shirts to fans and family. All are encouraged to wear pink t the game.

In addition, Mansfield players will wear pink shorts and pink wristbands. Pink balls will be used during the game as well.

The Spirit Committee of the Mansfield University SGA will also hold a halftime challenge of the popular ‘Beat the Goalie’ and donations will be accepted at the game.

Admission is free.
