FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  Mansfield field hockey moves up to #7 in STX/NFHCA NCAA Division II National Coaches Weekly Poll

MANSFIELD – The Mansfield University field hockey team jumped to seventh in the latest STX/NFHCA NCAA Division II National Top Ten Coaches Poll released today.

Mansfield, ranked tenth in the preseason poll, moved up three places on the strength of a 3-1 record. The Mountaineers are also currently tied with Indiana University of Pennsylvania, the second ranked team in the nation, for first place in the PSAC West.

Mansfield will host Slippery Rock Wednesday afternoon starting at 4 p.m. at Spaulding Field.
