FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mansfield’s Jaimie Purdy and Jessie Wolski named to All-Rookie Team by womensfieldhockey.com

MANSFIELD – Mansfield University freshmen Jaimie Purdy (Erieville/Cazenovia) and Jessie Wolski (Barker/Barker Central) has been selected to the NCAA Division II All-Rookie Team by womensfieldhockey.com.

The 16 member team was announced today.

Purdy, a freshman forward, ranked third on the team in goals scored with four and was fourth on the team in scoring with eight points.

Wolski, a freshman who played forward and midfield, was third on the team in scoring with nine points on two goals and a team-best five assists.

Mansfield ended the 2008 campaign with a 7-12 overall mark and finished fourth in the PSAC West with a 3-6 record.
