RELEASE DATE: 9/11/07 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mansfield Field Hockey #8 in nation in this week’s STX/NFHCA Poll MANSFIELD – The Mansfield University field hockey team is ranked #8 in the nation in the latest STX/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll released today. Mansfield fell one spot from last week’s #7 ranking after a 1-0 loss to #3 ranked IUP last Saturday. The Mountaineers are currently 4-1 overall and host #6 East Stroudsburg this afternoon in a 4 p.m. matchup at Spaulding Field. The travel to #9 ranked Shippensburg on Saturday.
