FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Field Hockey Drops 5-1 Decision at IUP

INDIANA, PA – Indiana scored three unanswered second half goals to down Mansfield 5-1 in a PSAC field hockey battle between nationally ranked teams.

Brittany Ownes scored the game’s first goal at the 18 minute mark and IUP added another goal by Liz Martini four minutes later.

Mansfield cut the score to 2-1 when Keely Jarrett scored her seventh goal of the season.

But IUP would carry play in the second half, outshooting the Mountaineers 19-7 in the second half to improve to 7-3 overall and 6-2 in conference play.

Brianna DeLuca recorded 17 saves in goal for Mansfield.
