POSTPONED
MANSFIELD
– Today’s Mansfield University baseball home opener scheduled with SUNY-Cortland
for 3 p.m. at Shaute Field has been postponed because of wet field conditions.
“We’ve
spent a lot of time and effort working on the field,” head coach Harry Hillson
said. “But the infield is just not playable today.”
A
makeup date has yet to be set. The Mountaineers are 10-7 on the season and are
scheduled to host The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on Thursday.
