Wurster joins the Mountaineer coaching staff this season after an
outstanding career as the Mountaineers shortstop over the past four years. An
All-PSAC East selection, Wurster was one of the top infielders in the PSAC
during the course of his career. Wurster started a school record 188 straight games at shortstop over his career and set the school record in assists with 590 while being part of a double play combination that holds the school record with 55.
A career .275 batter, played in the fifth most games in school history.
