YODER PICKS UP SECOND WIN OF SEASON

Dan
Yoder (Williamsport/Williamsport) went five strong innings to pick up
his second win of the season and David
Meldrem had three hits including a two-run double to lead Mansfield
University to a 6-3 win over Ashland (OH) University in a NCAA Division II
matchup in Ft. Myers, FL Friday afternoon.
Yoder gave up four hits
while striking out four before giving way to Marty Rakaczewski
(Wilkes-Barre/Hanover) in the sixth. Rakaczewski allowed no hits and
struck out three over two innings.
Mansfield rapped out ten
hits in the game led by freshman David Meldrum (Venetia/Peters TWP) who went
3-for-3 including a two-run double in the third inning that would prove to be
the margin of difference.
