RELEASE DATE: 4/12/10 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mansfield moves up to No. 9 in this week’s National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Division II Atlantic Region poll MANSFIELD – On the strength of a 4-2 week, the Mansfield University baseball team moved up one notch from No. 10 to No. 9 in this week’s National Collegiate Baseball Writers (NCBWA) Division II Atlantic Region poll. Mansfield improved to 19-13 overall and the Mountaineers rank as one of the top hitting teams in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) with a .332 team batting average. Mansfield is at Clarion for a doubleheader Monday before returning home to host Wilmington University in a doubleheader on Wednesday.
