FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mansfield picked to finish fourth in PSAC East in preseason coaches poll

LOCK HAVEN – Mansfield University has been picked to finish fourth in the PSAC East this season in the PSAC East Preseason Coaches Poll.

West Chester was picked to finish first followed by Shippensburg, Kutztown, Mansfield, Millersville, East Stroudsburg and Bloomsburg.

Slippery Rock was picked to finish first in the PSAC West.

Mansfield finished fourth in the PSAC East last season, missing the playoffs on the last day of the season with a 10-10 conference mark.

Millersville was the surprising winner of the PSAC East in 2008 with a 12-8 mark with Kutztown and West Chester tied at 11-9.

The PSAC added Gannon University and Mercyhurst University this season with both schools playing in the PSAC West.

Shippensburg, which won the PSAC West last season, has moved to the PSAC East this season.
