FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Baseball Adds Doubleheader at Lock Haven on Tuesday

MANSFIELD -- After having eight games postponed by inclement weather condition over the past week, the Mansfield University baseball team decided to get proactive by adding a doubleheader at Lock Haven this Tuesday. Game time is set for 1 p.m.

"Everybody's in the same boat," said head coach Harry Hillson. "The weather has effected almost every team in the conference over the past couple of weeks and everybody's scrambling to get some games in."

Mansfield had a doubleheader with Bryant College cancelled and then was forced to postpone doubleheaders at Slippery Rock and Shippensburg as well as a home twinbill with Shippensburg.

None of those postponed games have been rescheduled at this time.

Mansfield will open the PSAC East season when they host West Chester this Friday at Shaute Field before traveling to West Chester on Saturday.
