RELEASE DATE: 4/11/06 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mounties Move Down to 7th in Latest NCBWA Division II North Atlantic Poll MANSFIELD – The Mansfield University baseball team moved down one place to seventh in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) NCAA Division II North Atlantic Regional Poll released today. Mansfield was tied for sixth last week with Slippery Rock University who moved up to fourth in this week's poll. The Mountaineers went 4-2 during the past week to improve to 23-13 on the season and 5-3 in the PSAC East by sweeping Lock Haven and splitting with Bloomsburg both at home and on the road. Mansfield will not play on Thursday April 13 against Cortland as that game has been canceled. The Mounties are back in action Friday when they host East Stroudsburg in a PSAC East doubleheader.
