FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mansfield field hockey moves up to #7 in national Division II poll

MANSFIELD – On the strength of one of the best starts in school history, the Mansfield University field hockey team moved up to #7 on this week’s STX/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll.

Mansfield had started the season as the #8 ranked team in the STX/NFHCA preseason poll and the Mountaineers have won their first three games of the year including a 5-3 win over #10 Bryant University on Sunday.

The Mountaineers travel to Millersville on Wednesday before hosting #4 IUP on Saturday.
